| FAIRFIELD Showground, in Sydney Australia, will again be transformed into a mini Germany when Oktoberfest comes to town. |
Past years have attracted crowds of up to 30,000 people and weather won't be a problem as there is on-site cover for at least 8,000 revellers. |

| The 38th Oktoberfest will officially open on Saturday, September 29th when German-Austrian club president, Walter Schmied taps the first barrel of beer at 4.30pm.
"Ozapft is (it's tapped)," he cries.

Oh! and we mustn't forget the beer. What would The Original Fairfield Oktoberfest be without mentioning the beer - only the best beers in the world in our beautiful Souvenir Steins. Or perhaps you may prefer our famous Apple Schnapps. Either way you can drink and be merry. |
